Cancer Information and Counseling Line (CICL)
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm MST
The CICL provides emotional support, up-to-date medical information and resource referrals through brief, professional counseling. This toll-free, national service is funded by the AMC Cancer Fund and housed at the University of Colorado Cancer Center. The CICL provides evidenced-based counseling for the whole person. Our mission is to enrich the lives of all people affected by cancer, and to be an additional resource in an overwhelmed health care system. We provide and translate comprehensive medical information and offer personalized, brief professional counseling when our callers need it most. CICL is a free service and counselors are highly trained, master's-level psychosocial professionals.
A service supported by AMC Cancer Fund. If you are unable to get through to a counselor, please leave a message. We return calls within 24 hours.
