Dinner in White Event - The party began at 7 PM at the surprise location, the Chase Bank patio, located on the corner of 18th and Arapahoe and white was the color of the night. White lights, white tents, white tables and beautiful people decked out in white. The guest arrive in style in classic white attire, bring thier own picnic dinner fare, while the wine, french martinis, beer, appetizers and dessert was provided be AMC. Meniskus a local band, played great music making the night fun and magical. Guest enjoyed the beautiful view and sunset while visiting with one another, checking out the silent auction items and wall of wine, as well as vi sting the french market place with fascinating artist and vendors. We did the Diner en Blanc proud!

The First Annual Women's Event was a great success! After a little bit of "Girl Talk" with Dr. Virginia Borges of the University of Colorado Cancer Center about pregnancy-related breast cancer research, guests enjoyed wine, hors d'oeuvres and shopping at the
DU Newman Center. At 7:00 pm, the curtain rose for "Jonna's Body, Please Hold", a one women performance by Jonna Tamases
about her struggles and triumphs as a three-time cancer survivor. After, guest enjoyed coffee and dessert and left with hands
full of complimentary hand-painted wine glass and shopping bags and hearts full of inspiration as well as a renewed commitment
to continue the fight against cancer.

The Gift Of Life and Breath 5K, took place on Saturday May 15th at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The sun was shining, the excitement was palpable and the generosity was overwhelming. Thank you to everyone including over 900 participants and sponsors who helped to exceed the $60,000 goal by raising over $82,000, enough to fund the next year of research into an early detection for lung cancer!
