Increase funding for behavioral and psychosocial research and promote healthy lifestyle choices with awareness and education tools
1. Increase funding for prevention and control for behavioral and psychosocial research and dissemination of this research into sustainable programs in our communities. Such funding would help promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles and could reduce the onset of cancer. Provide continuing and increased funding for the Cancer Information and Counseling Line (CICL) to continue its cancer survivorship research and staffing.
